BIO
Annezina is an Athens-based artist and architect. She studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, where she also completed a postgraduate degree in monument restoration.
Her work is rooted in a deep connection to ancient Greek art and museum collections explored through travel. Inspiration lies in the pure simplicity of minimalist design, the patterns of Geometric vessels and the timeless presence of archetypal female forms.
Approaching every piece as an architectural composition, her process is driven by clean lines and geometric clarity. Exploring spatial symmetry and the rhythmic balance between full and void spaces, she builds a contemporary universe of her own. At its center stands a recurring geometric woman - an emblem of strength and freedom that spans across ceramics, fine art prints, collages, and wearables.
Purely handcrafted in Athens through an uncompromised artistic process, every creation balances art, technique, and time. From individually hand-painted ceramics detailed with sgraffito, to signed fine art prints originating from hand-drawn artworks, and hand-screened organic textiles, each piece carries the distinct mark of her hand.
